I hadn't seen my bud, Bob Burden (FLAMING CARROT, MYSTERY MEN) in years and I accidentally mistook another guy in his booth for him.
In my defense, both wore the same type of glasses, have mops of brown hair turning grey fading into very short back and sides. But Bob doesn't have a beard or mustache. Hey, he COULD have grown one after all of this time!

MAYBE THIS IS NO BIG DEAL, BUT ...
Today I had a "What The Hell?" Moment.
I watch the news everyday and I see the common inhumanity from the same common sources. But when I see the common inhumanity from an uncommon source, it grabs my attention. Such is how I felt when I saw the following cartoons from Bill Day of the Commercial Appeal in Nashville, Tennesee, and Mike Thompson of the Detroit Free Press.

GLOBAL WARMING HORROR II
Another inconvenient truth for Al Gore. In his film, most of his "scientists" who believe that humans are causing global warming, aren't climate scientists at all.
Just how big a distinction is that? Pretty dang big! Just because you are the tops in your field of biology or physics or astronomy doesn't make you expert de facto in every science: anymore than being a motorcycle mechanic will also make you a damn fine aircraft mechanic.
Examples are many. The late Fred Hoyle was a famed astronomer and rightly so. But for all of his genius in regards to astronomy, he believed that evolution was total bunk. He was no evolutionary scientist or even a biologist.
Albert Einstein was an unquestionable genius in the realm of physics, but couldn't get a handle on quantum physics, going so far as to refute the very idea.
As it so happens, hundreds of actual climatologists world wide, who aren't in anyone's pocket, make a good case for why Al Gore's AN INCONVENIENT TRUTH contains no truth at all.
